Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Vaelenor, a free online game operated by Vaelenor ("we"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

1. Who may play

  • You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the account and for any purchase.
  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable: do not share, sell, trade or give yours away.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for everything that happens on your account and for keeping your password secret. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Account, character and guild names follow the Rules of conduct. Improper names may be changed without notice.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the rules of conduct. Suspensions and bans are not refundable.

3. Game rules

The community rules, fair play and penalties are in the Rules of conduct and are part of these Terms. In short: respect, no bots, scripts, bug exploitation, or selling items, gold or accounts for real money.

4. Diamonds, VIP and purchases

  • Diamonds and VIP are virtual benefits licensed for use inside the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be converted into money and cannot be transferred between accounts.
  • Prices are shown in Brazilian reais (BRL) and may change. Payments are processed by Mercado Pago; we never receive or store your card details.
  • Credit happens when the payment is confirmed. If it is delayed, the game re-checks pending payments periodically.
  • Right of withdrawal: you may cancel a purchase within 7 days (art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code), provided the diamonds have not been spent and the VIP has not been used. After that, or once the benefit has been consumed, there is no refund, except for our error or where the law requires it.
  • Chargebacks: a reversed or disputed payment reverts the corresponding diamonds and VIP and may lead to account suspension.
  • No item, attribute or combat advantage is sold for money. VIP speeds up PvE progress and does not apply in the Arena, guild war or against bosses.

5. Changes to the game

Vaelenor is under continuous development. We may add, change, rebalance or remove content, items, values and rules at any time, including those affecting items you own. We do this to keep the game balanced, and it does not entitle you to compensation. Relevant changes are announced in the News and in the wiki.

6. Content and ownership

  • The game, art, texts, code and trademarks belong to Vaelenor or its licensors. You receive a personal, limited and revocable license to play; nothing more.
  • What you write in chat, names and descriptions is yours, but you allow us to display and store that content inside the game and to remove it if it breaks the rules.
  • Copying, modifying, reverse engineering or creating derivative works of the game without permission is forbidden.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the game online, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance with or without notice. If we decide to shut the game down, we will give at least 30 days' notice; benefits already consumed are not refunded.

8. Closing your account

You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Deletion is final: heroes, items, diamonds, VIP, progress and social links are erased and cannot be recovered. Payment records are kept for the period required by law, without your identifying data. See the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

The game is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of progress caused by failures, or what other players do or say. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights Brazilian law guarantees you as a consumer.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date of the current version appears at the top of this page. Important changes will be announced in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new version.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of your place of residence when you are a consumer. Questions, requests or purchase issues: the game support channel.
