Code of conduct
Vaelenor is a shared world. These rules apply to chat, names, guilds and any interaction between players.
1. Respect
No insults, harassment, hate speech, threats or stalking — over race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or anything else. Disagreeing is fine; attacking the person is not.
2. Chat
- No spam, flooding, sustained caps or advertising other services.
- No explicit sexual, violent or illegal content.
- No sharing of personal data (yours or someone else's).
- No scams, chain messages or promises of items/currency outside the game.
3. Names
Character and guild names follow the same rules as chat. A name that is offensive, impersonates the game staff or is misleading may be changed without notice.
4. Account
- The account is yours: do not share, sell or trade it.
- You are responsible for everything that happens on it — protect your password.
- Selling items, gold or characters for real money is forbidden.
5. Fair play
- No bots, macros, scripts or automation of any kind.
- No exploiting bugs. Found a flaw that grants an advantage? Report it instead of using it — using it is a violation, reporting helps the server.
- No interfering with the game's availability (attacks, overload, reverse engineering the services).
6. Reporting and blocking
Found someone breaking the rules? Use report on the player's profile: it goes to the staff. To solve it right away, block them — blocking cuts chat, PvP challenges and mutual visibility.
Repeated false reports are a violation too.
7. Penalties
Depending on severity and repetition: warning, temporary mute, rollback of improperly obtained items, suspension or permanent ban. Automation and bug exploitation usually go straight to the harsher penalties.
8. Rule changes
The game is evolving; rules and values may change to keep it balanced. Relevant changes are announced in the News and in this wiki.
