Attributes, levels and points
The four attributes
| Attribute | What it gives |
|---|---|
| STR (Strength) | ATK — each STR point is worth 2 attack (for the Mage, INT plays this role) |
| INT (Intelligence) | Maximum MP and the Mage's attack |
| AGI (Agility) | Speed — fills the turn bar faster, meaning more actions per battle |
| VIT (Vitality) | Maximum HP — each point is worth 10 health |
What about defense?
DEF does not come from attributes. It is a base that grows automatically with your level, plus whatever your gear provides. This is deliberate: if VIT gave both health and defense, stacking VIT would always be the best choice and every other option would be a trap.
Want more defense? Level up and improve your gear (refining included).
Leveling up
Required XP grows linearly:
XP for the next level = current level × 1,500
That is: 1,500 at level 1, 15,000 at level 10, 45,000 at level 30.
Every level grants:
- 3 attribute points (each point adds 10 to the chosen attribute);
- skill points;
- restored HP and stamina.
How to spend them
There is no hidden build that beats everything — extremes lose. Ignoring VIT leaves you too fragile to last the fight; ignoring STR drags battles out and you take more hits; ignoring AGI hands free turns to the enemy. Balanced spreads with a light lean toward your playstyle perform best.
