Turn-based combat (CTB)
Battles put your character against 1 to 3 enemies.
Turn order
The system is CTB (Conditional Turn Based): every combatant has a bar from 0 to 100 that fills according to Speed. Whoever reaches 100 first acts. After acting, the bar resets and keeps filling.
Practical consequence: speed is not just "initiative" — a faster fighter acts more often during the same fight.
Available actions
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Attack | Basic hit, your ATK against the target's DEF |
| Skill | Costs MP; can deal damage, heal or apply bonuses |
| Defend | Halves the damage you take until your next turn |
| Item | Uses a consumable from your bag (HP/MP potions) |
End of battle
The fight ends when one side is defeated, or when you give up. Either way your character's HP and MP are synced with the final state — there is no "leave the fight to heal for free".
Giving up ends the battle with no reward. If you are defeated, head to the Tavern to recover.
