Getting started

Vaelenor is a turn-based MMORPG played straight in the browser. Nothing to install: your account keeps the progress and you can come back from any device.

Your account and your heroes

  • Each account holds up to 3 characters. Only one is active at a time.
  • When creating a hero you pick a class (archetype), which sets the starting attributes and starting gear. In this first version only the Warrior is open; Mage and Archer come later.
  • Part of the starting gear comes equipped; one piece starts in your bag on purpose, so you learn how to equip.

The core loop

  1. Explore a hunting zone, spending stamina.
  2. Win battles for XP, gold and items.
  3. Equip what dropped and spend the attribute points from the new level.
  4. Rest at the Tavern when stamina or HP run out.
  5. Repeat in harder zones, climb towers and face bosses.

Tutorial

The starter quest "The Beginning of the Journey" walks you through the first steps: defeat a monster, rest at the Tavern and equip an item. Completing it grants gold, potions and XP. Nothing blocks the screen — you learn by playing.

Where everything happens

The game is organized in five tabs on the bottom menu:

  • Home — your hero, the active spirit, shortcuts (quests, mail, achievements, friends, bag, settings) and the Explore button.
  • Hero — attributes, skills, skins, spirits and bag.
  • Adventure — Dark Forest (exploration), Towers, Bosses, Arena and Training Room.
  • City — Grocery, Blacksmith, Auctions, Tavern, My House and Shop.
  • Social — Chat, Guilds, Friends, Mail and Achievements.

Every day

Logging in every day grants a login reward that grows with your streak (30-day cycle; missing a day resets the streak). Achievements reward milestones such as levels, victories and refines.
