Exploration and hunting zones
Exploring is the main source of XP, gold and items.
Zones
Each zone has a minimum level and a stamina cost per exploration. Higher zones give better rewards and more dangerous monsters.
You cannot explore at zero HP — recover first.
Events
Every exploration rolls an event, with different weights per zone:
- Combat — starts a battle against 1 to 3 monsters from the zone;
- Gold found — gold straight to your pocket;
- Item found — goes to your bag;
- Trap — you lose HP (never below zero).
Bag and mail
Your bag holds 30 slots. When an item does not fit it is not lost: it goes to your Mailbox and waits there for 7 days until you free space and claim it. After that, already-claimed messages are cleaned up.
Battle rewards
Winning grants XP, gold and possible monster drops. Active quests asking you to "defeat X" progress automatically, and rested XP (from the Tavern) is applied if you have charges.
Background hunting
Want your hero to hunt while you do something else? Use Explore offline (below). Leaving the tab, minimizing or locking your phone with Auto-Explore on only pauses the on-screen hunt: when you come back it continues where it was.
How the return is worked out:
- The first fights (up to 3) are played for real, with your hero's auto tactics, potions and spirit. They measure how much HP and MP your hero spends per fight in that zone.
- The rest of the time is worked out from that average: zone events are rolled like on screen, each exploration spends stamina, potions are drunk below 50% HP/MP and rewards (gold, XP, items, quests, Bestiary) are the usual ones.
- The hunt stops on its own with no HP, no stamina or when HP can't take the next fight (defeat). A battle that was open finishes first.
- It counts at most 4 hours and up to 120 explorations at a time. The summary shows right away, no waiting.
Explore offline
Want to leave for good? In the hunting zone, tap Explore offline. Your hero hunts alone with the same rules for up to 4 hours, and you can close the game (it works on iPhone too).
- The zone shows Hunting… with the time elapsed. Tap End hunt to finish and see the summary, or Go to Home to keep playing while they hunt.
- The Home tab shows Hero hunting in [zone] — tap it to go back to the zone.
- Only real time counts: coming back after 10 minutes gives 10 minutes of hunting.
- After 4 hours the hunt ends on its own and the summary shows when you open the game.
- You cannot start in the middle of a battle, while resting, at zero HP or without stamina. Sleeping at the Tavern ends the hunt.
- While they hunt, they are busy just like at the Tavern: no other battles (tower, boss, dungeon, abyss, PvP), forging or creating spirits. Return from the hunt first.
Tip: install the game as an app (Install button on the Home tab) to get back to your hunt faster.
Bestiary
On the Social tab, the Bestiary counts how many of each monster you have defeated. At 1,000, 2,000 and 4,000 kills of the same monster you claim 1 free attribute point (up to 30 points in total). The first hero on the server to defeat each monster is recorded in the bestiary, in chat and on the monster's page here in the wiki.
